Hey Mez, Great feedback here. I don't think we've met before but my name is Parker and I'm currently the product marketing manager for Jenkins at CloudBees. It's nice to e-meet you :). You mentioned "One thing that really helps on other platforms (Android / Spring Boot / etc) is having an *opinionated* way of doing things. Maybe I'm missing something but the bare bones starter project still allows for a lot of deviation meaning plugins can end up looking wildly different." I completely agree and we're actively working to discover and implement improvements on that front. I think many other people in the Jenkins community also resonate with your comment, "I need a CI ecosystem that *just works* and that I can easily contribute to." Well put. Would you be willing to meet for 20-30 minutes sometime in the near future and chat so I can gather your thoughts in more detail? I'm already putting together an RFE to send in to based on your comments! Let me know if you have time to get together and we can coordinate offline. Thanks a bunch!
