That's great news. The Jenkins platform special interest group is interested in those types of topics.
The Jenkins project docker image has various supported modes (Alpine, Debian jdk8, Debian jdk11, CentOS, etc.) and there are changes being evaluated to include multi-arch docker image support for ARM, PowerPC, and others. Do you see the OpenJ9 work as more of an experiment with results that are complete, or would you consider proposing it as an additional Docker tag in the Jenkins image?
