It is fairly common that pull requests spend time waiting before they are reviewed, merged, and released. Maintainers are volunteers and their availability varies. Maintainers of critical plugins (like the multibranch plugin) need to be quite sensitive to maintain compatibility for existing users, so they may be uncomfortably slow to integrate a proposed change.
You can encourage further reviews by using your pull request in your own production and by reporting your results in the pull request. You can encourage further reviews by inviting others who use your pull request to also report their results in the pull request. Maintainers often see more users of a pull request as an indicator of greater interest in the pull request and greater confidence that the pull request does not negatively affect other features of the plugin.
