Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, I mean the `<parent>` section of your pom.xml, like this <https://github.com/jenkinsci/workflow-cps-plugin/blob/fafa1d627cb34520745322fab7bd6ddcfc5a791b/pom.xml#L28-L33> (make sure your plugin matches). I would go ahead and update to version 4.7.
The issue is not environmental, so resetting your environment should not make a difference.
