In the Advanced tab of the "Plugin Manager", you should add a button or
automatically test that the proxy is working properly. To test it I had to go
back to try to install a given plugin. When you are not sure of what settings
to put, it would be simpler for the user to test it all there.
It should be done like it is done for Subversion server connection validation
or the "Test configuration by sending test e-mail"
