David Chou created JENKINS-13074:
------------------------------------
Summary: when using "Latest successful build", viewing build
parameters does not display build number
Key: JENKINS-13074
URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-13074
Project: Jenkins
Issue Type: Bug
Components: copyartifact
Affects Versions: current
Reporter: David Chou
Assignee: Alan Harder
Attachments: parameterbySelectingSpecificBuild.PNG,
parametersbySelectingLatestSuccesfulBuild.PNG
Using Copy Artifact Plugin version 1.21
1. Use the 'Build Selector for Copy Artifact' as a build parameter
2. Choose "Latest successful build"
3. Build the project
4. View the project's parameters (
http://jenkins-instance/<PROJECT>/<BUILD_NUMBER>/parameters/ )
Expected it to show which buildNumber it chose, as it does when you use
"Specific build" (attachment: parameterbySelectingSpecificBuild.PNG)
Actual, shows "StatusBuildSelector" (attachment:
parametersbySelectingLatestSuccesfulBuild.PNG)
I'd be extremely helpful to see which build number was selected in the
parameters when choosing "Latest successful build"
[ I do know about the "Copied 1 artifact from "foo-project" build number 123" ]
Thanks!
