Thanks for the update, if I could program in java I would try to help...
Being able to specify scp arguments would be hugely useful, something like:
ssh://user@server:/path/to/folder/
And then it would be expected that 'user' is in the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file
on 'server', so that a password doesn't need to stored in plain text on jenkins.
