Dawn Harris created JENKINS-13516:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Cancelling matrix build jobs only seems reliable from
Jenkins front page
Key: JENKINS-13516
URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-13516
Project: Jenkins
Issue Type: Bug
Components: matrix
Reporter: Dawn Harris
Priority: Minor
We are using Jenkins V1.425, and all the jobs we have configured are matrix
builds. Occasionally we wish to cancel a build, but clicking on the red cross
icon does not always seem to do anything.
When on the web page for the build job, or the web page for just one matrix
configuration for the job, then we can never seem to cancel the
job properly. Sometimes we even need to restart the appropriate build slave to
get things back to a working state. The most reliable way to cancel the job
seems to be from the very front page of Jenkins in the "Build Executor Status"
list.
It would be really nice to be able to reliably cancel jobs from any page of the
web interface.
