Slide-O-Mix resolved JENKINS-7561.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
Since email-ext is a post-build only plugin, it doesn't have the capability to
do scheduled stuff. You could theoretically create another job that runs on a
schedule and use the groovy or jelly scripting to create a status email for all
the jobs.
> Schedule Email for status of all Hudson Jobs
> --------------------------------------------
>
> Key: JENKINS-7561
> URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-7561
> Project: Jenkins
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: email-ext
> Reporter: JPSimpson
>
> I know that there is an issue raised to get email notifications for
> successful builds etc http://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-279 however
> this may be overkill and with a large amount of jobs this may become
> unwieldy. A daily (or scheduable) summary of the overall status of all jobs
> maintained by hudson would be a useful addition to allow users to quickly
> know at the beginning of a day that everything is running as expected, also
> showing the status of the weather forcast may be of use here. Just a simple
> email e.g.
> Project X : successful : 5/5 recent tests passed
> Project Y : unstable : 5/5 recent tests passed
> Project Z : failed : 3/5 recent tests failed
> A similar schedule syntax as the build scheduler would be perfect for this.
