Eric Smalling created JENKINS-13897:
---------------------------------------
Summary: EC2 Userdata not being Base64 encoded
Key: JENKINS-13897
URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-13897
Project: Jenkins
Issue Type: Bug
Components: ec2
Affects Versions: current
Reporter: Eric Smalling
Assignee: Eric Smalling
Trying to start up an instance with any scripting in the userdata field I get
Base64Encoding errors back from AWS. Per
http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/instancedata-data-categories.html?r=8772
the UserData field needs to be base64 encoded and it's not.
