Before user login , the picuture of web shows "X" as attachment

Easiest way to reproduce is to setup security in Jenkins (current version) and press CTRL+F5 (full reload) in the web browser (before logging in).
I've also found this stacktrace in the jenkins.err.log file which seems to be related to the images. Please see attachement for full stacktrace:
