I think it is some kind of problem caused by these new versions.
Anyway, the situation for us was resolved when we edited /etc/sysconfig/Jenkins:

JENKINS_JAVA_OPTIONS="-Djava.awt.headless=true -XX:MaxPermSize=512M"
