Nicolas De Loof commented on JENKINS-14595 I should be able to source a flow definition from SCM build flow as any other jenkins configuration can be stored in scm using scm-sync-configuration-plugin (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/SCM+Sync+configuration+plugin) I'd like jenkins to abstract the File api when storing configuration so we can plug some more advanced backend with full changes history support
