The p4sync task was intended to simplify the setup using a DSL. I have added support for an 'optional' populate class, if no class provided then AutoCleanImpl is used with default options (no pin value).
e.g.

Basic options with no populate (syncs to head using AutoCleanImpl)

 
                                                    node() {
   p4sync charset: 'none', 
      credential: 'localhost1666',
      stream: '//streams/st1-main'
}
 
                                                

Advanced with populate class provided

 
                                                    node() {
   p4sync charset: 'none', 
      credential: 'localhost1666', 
      populate: [$class: 'AutoCleanImpl', 
         delete: true, 
         modtime: false, 
         parallel: [enable: true, minbytes: '1024', minfiles: '1', path: '/usr/local/bin/p4', threads: '4'], 
         pin: '8700', 
         quiet: true, 
         replace: true], 
      stream: '//streams/st1-main'
}
 
                                                

Just incase you were going to ask 'parallel' is a new optional feature for parallel sync using a local 'p4' executable.
