It would be really nice to make it easy to quickly create slaves - and configure them - based on the data in vSphere. However, I don't think it's a feature that will scale properly. At the company where I work, where we use this plugin and develop it, the amount of data in vSphere is large. There are several hundred VMs that we use, many more in the entire deployment. Retrieving all that VM data to populate a dropdown is to cause long unexplicable delays to the end user. Other apps/tools that try this sort of thing are rather despised here because navigating their UIs is painfully slow.
I like the thought for this feature request, but I don't think it's feasible.
