Kathi Stutz resolved JENKINS-16002 as Cannot Reproduce JobConfigHistory plugin does not record config changes done through API I tried it with both Jenkins 1.493 and the LTS version 1.480.1 but couldn't reproduce the bug. Which version of Jenkins do you use? However, I noticed that the showDiff page doesn't work properly if the new config.xml is formatted a bit differently than the old config.xml.
