BTW, I felt a bit bad to close this without being able to help more. So I implemented a troubleshooting mode (released in 1.3.5, pushed now) that allows to log the POST request/answer (hiding criticial information like passwords).
The only drawback is that you have to actively enable it before the problem happens.
