Ilguiz Latypov edited a comment on JENKINS-54008   Re: Loading library fails - Error fetching remote repo 'origin' Ah sorry I targeted a wrong bug.  I thought it was related to my frustration with the git plugin showing a "fatal: Could not read from remote repository" error.  I think if the git plugin could add this trace message before invoking git, {noformat} echo "Checking out branch ${branch} with credentials ${credentialsId} from ${url} ..." {noformat} dozens of devops would be happier. Mu problem resolved when I saw that I was using a wrong credential, which did not agree with the error message.
