I don't think that this feature would make sense in the plug-in. At least for my teams I want to ensure that a warning in Jenkins also shows up with the same priority in Eclipse and Maven (console). So the right way to do this is to configure it in the tool (i.e. in findbugs). Then all displaying backends show the same information. I haven't checked if you can change that in Findbugs, at least for PMD and Checkstyle you can configure these priorities in the tools.
(Won't fix does not mean that I won't consider a pull request for such a feature, so feel free to provide a patch)
