Since it's fixed in 1.7.10, updating svnkit should fix this. However, the subversion plugin uses a patched version of svnkit so it's not necessarily as easy as updating the dependency. I would love to see the pull request: https://github.com/jenkinsci/svnkit/pull/1 merged and the subversion plugin updated to prevent this from corrupting builds.
