My jenkins is running on CentOS, so the steps were: 1. Go to /etc/sysconfig/jenkins 2. Add the flag "-Dorg.jenkinsci.plugins.gitclient.GitClient.quietRemoteBranches=true" to the end of the "JENKINS_JAVA_OPTIONS" variable 3.
