URL for Apache Maven binaries has changed since version 3.0.4, but it affected Jenkins Maven installer since 3.0.5 as 3.0.4 was last one which was also released on old URL. New path has following format: http://archive.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-3/${maven.version}/binaries/apache-maven-${maven.version}-bin.zip e.g. http://archive.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-3/3.0.5/binaries/apache-maven-3.0.5-bin.zip Now Olivier Lamy has copied Apache Maven 3.0.5 binaries to old URL as well (see related Apache maven users mailing list discussion), but I guess this is temporary and in future Apache Maven binaries might end up released only on new URL, so support in Jenkins Maven installer has to be extended.
