Issue Type: Bug Bug
Assignee: Gregory Boissinot
Components: buildcontext-capture

Description:

Hi there,

I have setup the connection between Jenkins and BitBucket and am attempting to just trigger a git clone via Jenkins without a build step at the moment.

I have performed the SSH authentication steps already on the box where I have installed Jenkins so that Jenkins is able to authenticate to BitBucket when pulling from the repository (upon running a job build)

I tried experimenting on an actual client repository and waited for at least a day for Jenkins to checkout the upstream changes from the origin. Apparently the size of the repository to be checked out is at least 500MB in size. Nevertheless, the check out should have been completed in a shorter time than at least a day.

The build will hang at the line "Fetching upstream changes from origin"

Can you please advise what I have done wrong.

I have installed the Git plugin for Jenkins. I have also set all the fields under "Source Code Management" with the Git Repository Url and set my Repository Browser to0 be "bitbucketweb" with the correct repository url beneath it.

Please see screenshot

It will be great if you can advice ASAP. Please let me know what further details you require.
