Are you sure that information is in build.xml?
In Jenkins I see: "Started by anonymous user" in the dashboard but in build.xml all I see is:
<hudson.model.CauseAction>
<causes>
<hudson.model.Cause_-UserIdCause/>
</causes>
</hudson.model.CauseAction>
For a build that isn't forced ie. triggered by SCM I see:
<hudson.model.CauseAction>
<causes>
<hudson.triggers.SCMTrigger_-SCMTriggerCause/>
</causes>
</hudson.model.CauseAction>
Am I missing something?
