I can confirm that "try3" (no files in workspace) happens with me now almost at all times.
Sometimes, a single file in the project root is checkedout. Other times no files are checkedout at all.
But the directly structure is always created (but just no files downloaded).
I tried this with the remote integration point (via HTTP protocol) and the local integration point (with a locally running client) using the RMI beep protocol. Same result in both cases.
When using the CLI interface over bash directly "si createsandbox", everything works fine!
