Your solution looks fine to me. Just make sure that you explain clearly in the plugin what is meant with "Washed Change Set"

I am not sure if contributing activities are never shown in "poll-child" or "poll-sibling" modes (we are not using this mode for the moment). But aren't you doing some kind of delivery in those cases too ? So I would expect to see there also the contributing activities besides the actual deliver activity.

FYI: Below is an example of a Jenkins change set that get at this moment. You can see here:

  • the deliver activity (3 files that were actually delivered).
  • a rebase activity (rebase of the development-stream from where the actual delivery was done). But you can see that nothing had to be delivered from that rebase-activity.
  • two regular development activities (which were delivered as can be seen in the delivery activity).
