Description:
|
1. When creating a job with German umlauts in its name the corresponding directory in the file system has '?' instead of the umlauts.
As a consequence the build fails because of a java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException.
2. If a file name in a job's workspace contains umlauts, the file cannot be opened via Jenkins because it also has '?' instead of umlauts and cannot be found (-> screenshot)
Locale is set to de_DE.UTF-8
Jenkins is started with -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Dsun.jnu.encoding=UTF-8
sun.io.unicode.encoding UnicodeLittle
sun.jnu.encoding UTF-8
file.encoding UTF-8
file.encoding.pkg sun.io
But I wasn't able to get it to work
