OK. I will change the jobs to poll from the master.
We are currently using the 1.509.1 LTS version and this issue occurs once every 3-4 weeks or so. Maybe the error message should be changed and/or the option to use the slaves to do the polling should be removed since that doesn't seem to be a valid option any more?
