For me, the best solution that would cover all possible cases would be to have three options. This way, we can choose when configuring the plugin.
option 1: like it is now (with all change sets of the contributing activities visible)
option 2: show only the change set from the stream itself, but show also the list of contributing activities (without further details about the changes per activity).
option 3: show only the change set from the stream itself (sorted per activity).
