Same problem with Jenkins vers. 1.539 and Jenkins ver. 1.540-SNAPSHOT (rc-11/12/2013 08:31 GMT-jenkins)
The problem also happens when renaming a job. Really annoying. I found that job a deleted after a restart of the Jenkins server.
