Description:

After upgrading to Jenkins 1.538, no information is displayed for dashboard based views. Downgrading to Jenkins 1.537 resolves the problem.
The version of the dashboard-view plugin is 2.9.2.
There were heaps of exceptions output to the logs.
For instance:
hudson.ExpressionFactory2$JexlExpression evaluate
WARNING: Caught exception evaluating: it.getBuildStat(jobs) in /jenkins/. Reason: java.lang.NullPointerException
java.lang.NullPointerException
