Hi Michael,
Your approach was the first iteration of our pipeline (without Build Flow). Due to the build history mess we were not able to monitor the state of our pipeline, so I ended up writing the Job Generator plugin which tried to be easy to use for Jenkins novices.
I would like to make this plugin compatible with he Build Flow plugin. First I would have to find a way to support other project types than free-style.
The jobcopy-builder plugin can generate any type of jobs but it has some drawbacks.
Did you try any of the job creator plugins out there ? What's your experience coupled with the Build Flow plugin ? Did you manage to find a cool way to leverage those plugins ?
