Description:

When a build clones from our remote repo it now only partially clones the git config file as only the [core] section is in the file in the jenkins workspace. The actual file in our remote repo has [remote] and [branch] sections which is now missing in the jenkins workspace. If i downgrade Jenkins to 1.542, git client plugin back to 1.6.0 and git plugin back to 1.5.0 everything goes back to normal and jenkins clones the complete git config file.
I have recreated a couple of jobs to isolate any corruption, but its not that and effects all (hundreds) of jobs on my server.
