If it were only that easy, these things happen when you are part of a start up that gets acquired by another larger start-up who is then acquired again a little later by a multinational company all in the span of 2 yrs.
The irony is that the user id is not the same as the e-mail for said multinational company. Still it would be a nice feature to have, something like a user alias.
