In the attachments section you should just put *.pdf if the file is in the root of the workspace. You can only attach things that are under the workspace, nothing outside of that area. The pattern in the attachments pattern follows the Ant file pattern syntax. Please don't try and use the FILE token, that would try and match against the CONTENTS of the file, which won't match anything. I believe I gave you the exact syntax on the mailing list already.
