Was anyone able to find a work around?
Looking at another bug https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-10803 the solution seems to be install from the web, run a shell script to populate the proxy settings and then allow the director to continue to update via the web. However the Script seems to require some java plugins. Any feed back would be appreciated.
