Issue Type: New Feature New Feature
Affects Versions: current
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: blame-upstream-commiters
Created: 18/May/14 10:02 PM
Description:

Among other things, we do 24/7 testing on prototype hardware from Jenkins; we are simultaneously verifying both SW and HW. One test suite takes about 3 1/2 hours. The test is self-triggering (I use curl), such that testing continues with the latest build, even if it has already passed one or more test cycles. hudson.upstreamCulprits=true is the only workable way I have found to send blame email to upstream commiters since there is no upstream trigger. Please make it an official feature (more visibility and documentation would be a help too).
