Does the workaround mentioned in the original report work for those of you experiencing the issue in recent Jenkins versions?
Note that there were a lot of changes since this report, so this needs to be reproduced in 1.541 or newer to be relevant (latest possibly relevant change to symlinking I could find). Please mention your Java version as well.
