There seems to be a problem when I run Jenkins and create very large jobs that e.g. contain many windows batch statements and steps. The problem occurs when I try to save my configuration using the Jenkins web-GUI the upload process (POST?) halts because the configuration is too big. When I reduce the configuration size manually, e.g. with notepad, save the file and reload it into Jenkins, it works. But not when I use the GUI…
Another problem is that my Jenkins never manage to restart itself after a plugin or version update.
I
always have to manually restart the service.
I
use Jenkins 1.563 on a Windows XP machine.
