we are seeing this in our system now - on a master/slave both on linux, and free-style software project both with and without concurreny, on version 1.554.1. THe job appars to continue on the slave, complete and mark the status as passed later.
This appeared to be caused by a hiccup that left us with 2 slave instances pointing at the same workspace.
