We just upgraded to version 2.7 and now it seems to work, at least after restarting the priority sorter is still active. Could be related to the performance enhancement when saving jobs because we have thousands of (generated) jobs.
Unfortunately it is not working right now, maybe because we are making heavy use of sectioned views inside a big nested view. But that needs some logging and would be another ticket. I resolve this one for now if it is ok for you.
