Our initial setup was rather simple:

         ⎧ test1    ⎫
build ⎯→ ⎨ test2    ⎬ ⎯→ release
         ⎩ .....    ⎭

... and supported by the build pipeline view.



Then we inserted the notification job everywhere:

         ⎪ ↪ notify ⎪
build ⎯→ ⎨ test2    ⎬ ⎯→ release
↪ notify ⎪ ↪ notify ⎪   ↪ notify
         ⎩ .....    ⎭




... and the build pipeline view entered an infinite loop.
