Multi level single select never shows a "remove" button to facilitate deselection. And, if you "deselect" by going back to the "select a ..." option, then the value of the parameter is "select a ..." rather than blank. It should be blank as if nothing had ever been selected. Or at least a remove button should appear to achieve deselection. 2. Multi level multi select doesn't show a remove button when there is only one selection. When you make a second selection via the "select other" button, then a remove button appears against both selections. 3. Multi level multi select has similar issues to single select with respect to deselecting i.e. if there is only one selection, going back to the "select a ..." option does not blank the parameter, and there is no remove button.
