Considering this resolved with the change to the warning message that makes it obvious that Jenkins a) recognizes you want to poll every minute and b) the suggested alternative is polling every hour.
Polling is often unnecessarily expensive as there are better ways to trigger builds ( http://kohsuke.org/2011/12/01/polling-must-die-triggering-jenkins-builds-from-a-git-hook/ ), and doesn't properly scale to many builds. This warning recognizes that.
