The issue that I have run into here is that the commit list doesn't provide any guaruntee that the email will be available, or that it will belong to the right person. I have added a parameter that specifies who the author is of the latest commit, but it might be possible to create a list of committers from github.
Checkout the latest plugin and let me know if more is desired.
