I am using p4jenkins together with p4maven to do maven release automation.
p4maven always uses canonical path and therefore translating any symbolic link into real path. ( for example, $JENKINS_HOME can point to a softlink directory),and therefor fail during release:prepare.
Would it possible to ask p4jenkins to create new workspace using canonical path as well?
I think the same change under P4Maven to support softlink is huge
