What's not to love? Possibly related library issue: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FILEUPLOAD-206 FileUpload fails to handle requests with a form enctype of multipart/form-data;charset=UTF-8, so I doubt this can be resolved client-side (happy to be proven wrong!), so the Stapler fix above seems to be the correct solution for now.
