Daniel Beck resolved JENKINS-12624 as Cannot Reproduce Renaming Job and then creating a New Job with same name shows links to previous Job's builds. When this was reported there were unresolved bugs related to custom builds directories (that weren't getting renamed even though they should have), so this is likely related.
