Considering the age of your git plugin (1.5.0) and git client plugin (1.2.0), I recommend that you update to the current versions of the git plugin (2.2.5) and the git client plugin (1.10.2).
Unfortunately, with that large an update of the plugins, you may find other compatibility changes / surprises during your upgrade.
In order to duplicate this bug, you'll need to upgrade to the latest releases of those plugins, confirm that the bug can still be seen there, and then provide the detailed instructions to duplicate the problem in this bug report.
