I can't believe you closed the issue, that is such a cop out.
We are not using any wall plugin, we just happen to be accessing the REST API from a _javascript_ web service, completely separate from Jenkins. So what you are saying is that as an unauthenticated user, I can hammer jenkins REST API's with requests that will fill it's logs and take the server down. Sounds like a DoS attack waiting to happen to me.
